Instructions
Wash and peel the carrots if desired. Chop them into smaller pieces suitable for your equipment.
If using a juicer, feed the carrots through the juicer and collect the juice.
If using a blender, combine carrots and water, blend until smooth, then strain through a cheesecloth or fine mesh sieve to extract the juice.
If using a grater, finely grate carrots, wrap them in cheesecloth, and manually squeeze out the juice.
Add optional lemon juice, ginger, or honey to taste. Stir well and serve immediately, chilled or over ice.
Notes
Fresh carrot juice is best consumed immediately for maximum nutrients. Customize with apples, oranges, turmeric, or spinach for variations.
